A New Tricycle

Miss Lydia has a new bike and loves it. While it doesn't often rain in Texas, we have had about a week of straight rain, so....Miss Lydia has just been able to cruise around the house on her tricycle.

Miss Lydia and I are back to school and have been for about three weeks. She is doing so well!!! I am so proud of her. She is finally able to see me in the hallway, say "Hi Mama!" (while waving) and then keep walking with her friends. I used to have to hide so that she wouldn't get upset. She loves her teachers and friends. Yesterday, I got to watch her holding hands with her friends as she walked down the hall. Over the summer, we attended a "Play Wisely" class at ASI Gymnastics and now we attend on Saturday mornings. Lydia is doing well with it and is the only one in her class right now - can't beat one-on-one. Daddy continues to "wook" as Lydia calls it and is also teaching a Christianity 101 Sunday School class. He is doing such a great job - it's exciting to see him put all of his "Seminary learning" into practice.
On a side note, we just booked an Alaskan Cruise for our 10 year anniversary. We'll be going in June and are sooooo excited. Miss Lydia will spend the week with her IL grandparents. We are looking forward to a great time!
